Goodbye to Estelle Getty...

I'm sure you know who i am talking about, Estelle Getty best known as "Sophia" on the "Golden Girls" She's one of my favs and for me she's a very good comedian. I always watch Golden Girls every week, and even they show it at 1:00AM - 1:30 EARLY IN THE MORNING, i still wait for it because it really makes me laugh, and i like all the cast too. I will always remembered Estella Getty and her words of wisdom every time she shared a story in the show. She may be gone but all those laughters that she shared to the people will always remain in their heart.

Estelle Getty, the diminutive actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing a role of a lifetime in 1985 as the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on TV's "The Golden Girls," has died. She was 84. Getty, who suffered from advanced dementia, died at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at her Hollywood Boulevard home, said her son, Carl Gettleman of Santa Monica. To read the whole story visit Estella Getty.
